The work lends itself to being a site of contemplation for adults and a site of exploration for children. There is scope on the floor and the walls and uprights for subtle but playful interventions inspired by the research phase with the school children.
The passageway also has historical resonance with trenches, which feels fitting as we approach the Centenary Anniversary of the First World War.
